Tanashati is a recent mental healthcare graduate who has had a rocky transition from graduate school to starting her first job in her field. Tanashati has been an advocate since she can remember. At 17, she was the Chair of California You Connection's San Francisco chapter and during that year worked to successfully pass AB12, the first ever bill to extend foster care to age 21. Since middle school, she's engaged in photography (film and digital) even though now she mostly shoots on her phone. Post graduate school, she looks forward to exploring more hobbies and getting back to a regular yoga practice.
