New tires for Ashley who needs to commute to school and work

Posted Dec 21, 2022
Ashley has no financial help from family and is often asked to financially rescue family members in medical and legal trouble. She is working hard to set boundaries and is supporting herself with a part time job at a coffee shop while attending school. Her monthly paycheck goes to her rent , food and car maintenance, but she does not have enough to afford new tires. Her tires are down to the metal wires and her car is unsafe to drive. Four new tires for her car would be an amazing Christmas gift for Ashley!

Ashley is 21 years old and lives in CA

Ashley is a kind, caring and hardworking person. She is currently supporting herself with a part-time job at a coffee shop while she attends school. As a child and teenager Ashley experienced the death of her father, substance abuse and violence in her home, housing instability and the incarceration of two of her siblings. Ashley knew that a good education would help her break the cycle of poverty and substance abuse in her family. Ashley graduated from high school with a 3.5 GPA. She has just finished her first semester in the Medical Assistant program at the San Manuel Gateway College in San Bernardino. She will receive her certificate in March and already has a job lined up with a pediatric clinic in Loma Linda.
