Give Something Back - Loma Linda, CA
Give Something Back is a mentoring and college scholarship program. Our founder Bob Carr has prepaid for over 1500 scholarships in 7 different states. I am writing to you from the California Chapter. We are unique here in California because we target homeless youth, foster youth and children that have incarcerated parents for our scholarship recipients. Our scholarship provides 4 year room, board, fees and tuition to our partnering universities. Here in California we partner with Chapman University, The University of La Verne and Cal State San Bernardino. While we have the funds to pay for room, board and tuition, we do not have money for books and computers. We love to partner with other community based organizations that can assist us with our youths needs.
