D'Anna aged out of foster care and reflects that it was really hard growing up without having her basic needs being met. She has worked so hard to overcome the obstacles that being in foster care created, and she is really proud of herself that she is in school for music production. D'Anna hopes to continue on for her master's degree.

D'Anna is trying to handle a really difficult time right now, including recently losing her dad in a car accident, and becoming unhoused. She had to take a semester off from school to try and deal with her father's situation, and lost her housing. She has just found a new job, and is hoping this will allow her to stabilize herself. This wish for a week at a motel will help D'Anna to have some breathing room and get herself into stable housing. She is working with social services in her area, and they are working hard to find her an apartment.
