A nightstand for Alexis to keep her daily routine for her mental health
Alexis, 28 years old
Wish submitted by:
Foster Alumni MentorsAlexis is dedicated to improving her life circumstances. After aging out of foster care she moved out of state for a fresh start. She is building a better life for herself, working and recently re-enrolled in college. Her dream is to start a nonprofit helping other kids who aged out of foster care with the challenges they face to reach their goals.
Alexis's brother recently passed away, leaving a void in her life that she has been trying to fill. She struggles to get out of bed most days and is trying hard to keep a routine and stay busy. Last month her nightstand broke and she hasn't been able to keep her usual routine because she doesn't have a place to keep her medication to help her stay focused. This is a huge part of her routine that makes her successful when she gets up in the morning and when she goes to bed. A new nightstand will help her get back on track with keeping her daily routine going and get her back to feeling like herself again.
