Cynthia is an amazing young lady who is currently a participant of a transitional housing program for foster youth as well as her four siblings. Although she has been moved around three times throughout foster care, she has been diligent with obtaining high grades throughout high school, has participated in community outreach programs such as beautification, blood drives, and care packages for the homeless and the elderly. In addition to beginning her first year of college with hopes to become a business administrator, she works part time and hopes to save through budgeting wisely in order to help her younger siblings and herself with money. Although she has not had a stable home until joining our housing program, she is always smiling and thankful for the homes she has lived in, the families who have treated her with kindness and love, and for being granted the opportunity to study and work in the US.

Cynthia is a self-driven, caring and helpful individual. She takes pride in being able to make others laugh and smile. She also loves giving to her community through volunteer work, and she is eager to continue with her education. She is very responsible, polite, and is always thinking of others before herself. Lately, she has been dealing with seasonal allergies and the lack of ventilation in her room does not make it any easier. She is asking for an air purifier to assist her with coping with allergies, especially with heat season approaching.
