Cynthia is an amazing young lady who is currently a participant of a transitional housing program for foster youth as well as her four siblings. Although she has been moved around three times throughout foster care, she has been diligent with obtaining high grades throughout high school, has participated in community outreach programs such as beautification, blood drives, and care packages for the homeless and the elderly. In addition to beginning her first year of college with hopes to become a business administrator, she works part time and hopes to save through budgeting wisely in order to help her younger siblings and herself with money. Although she has not had a stable home until joining our housing program, she is always smiling and thankful for the homes she has lived in, the families who have treated her with kindness and love, and for being granted the opportunity to study and work in the US.

Cynthia's birthday is a few days away and although she is always volunteering in her community, caring for her younger siblings, and attending school full time, she never asks for gifts or anything in return. Cynthia suffers from sinusitis so having a hair dryer would help her experience fewer symptoms. This specific dryer she wishes for will also tame her hair so she can style it while drying it.
