Cynthia is an amazing young lady who is currently a participant of a transitional housing program for foster youth as well as her four siblings. Although she has been moved around three times throughout foster care, she has been diligent with obtaining high grades throughout high school, has participated in community outreach programs such as beautification, blood drives, and care packages for the homeless and the elderly. In addition to beginning her first year of college with hopes to become a business administrator, she works part time and hopes to save through budgeting wisely in order to help her younger siblings and herself with money. Although she has not had a stable home until joining our housing program, she is always smiling and thankful for the homes she has lived in, the families who have treated her with kindness and love, and for being granted the opportunity to study and work in the US.

Cynthia is one year away from transferring to a 4-year University and has been a 3.0 GPA student her entire freshman year in college! She has done amazingly well and is so proud of what she has accomplished. Winter semester is coming up and she is in need of text books and school supplies to help her be successful in school. This gift would allow her to focus on her studies and continue excelling as the great student she is!
