Sanaye, 23 years old

Sanaye came into care with our agency at the end of December. Sanaye has been in care on and off since she was about two years old. Sanaye is a very pleasant teenager, gets along well with everyone she meets and has made some new close friends at her new school. Sanaye enjoys listening to music, watching movies, and visiting with her mom and her aunt.

Sanaye is working to save money to purchase an Apple MacBook as she imagines that most of her Senior year will be done via remote learning. Her current laptop is not working properly as the camera feature does not work, which does not enable her to fully participate in Zoom classes or interviews. Sanaye has a job at a summer day camp and has been working very hard this summer. She has been saving her money to purchase a MacBook for this upcoming school year. Sanaye is also hoping to transition to an independent living program in the near future and will be heading to college next Fall where it will be important for her to have ample savings.
