Shawn is a wonderful young man who struggles with the lasting effects of abuse and neglect. He has many special needs and requires a high level of care and attention. He likes being part of the family and likes working on fixing things. Shawn likes to eat Chick-fil-A and listen to music. Shawn loves helping people and wants to be a teacher someday.

Shawn wishes for 10 pack of transparent face masks to wear at school. He is hard of hearing with hearing aids and a transparent face mask will allow his mouth to be seen and he will be able to share a mask with anyone he’s working with so he can read their lips as well. This will allow Shawn to communicate better and understand everything that’s going on around him. He is apprehensive about wearing mask and having to go to school during COVID-19; this will help him feel at ease. It is required that he wear a mask at school this year.
