Foster Parent Association of WilkesShawn is a wonderful young man who struggles with the lasting effects of abuse and neglect. He has many special needs and requires a high level of care and attention. He likes being part of the family and likes working on fixing things. Shawn likes to eat Chick-fil-A and listen to music. Shawn loves helping people and wants to be a teacher someday.
Shawn has had a really hard time with his balance lately. He learned to ride a bike when he was little and loved it, however due to his needs he is no longer able to balance well on a bike and it has caused numerous safety concerns. Shawn so desperately wants to ride a bike and be like everyone else. Having an adult tricycle will allow Shawn to safely ride a bike again as well as give him the independence and normalcy he desires!
