Alexis is dedicated to improving her life circumstances. After aging out of foster care she moved out of state for a fresh start. She is building a better life for herself, working and recently re-enrolled in college. Her dream is to start a nonprofit helping other kids who aged out of foster care with the challenges they face to reach their goals.

More often than not when a child enters foster care one of two things happens, either they have no idea where their family comes from, or they are told the wrong information. Alexis would love the opportunity to learn more about her heritage!
