Sanaye came into care with our agency at the end of December. Sanaye has been in care on and off since she was about two years old. Sanaye is a very pleasant teenager, gets along well with everyone she meets and has made some new close friends at her new school. Sanaye enjoys listening to music, watching movies, and visiting with her mom and her aunt.

Sanaye was not happy about having to switch schools yet again, but has recently talked about what a positive change her current school is and that she is finally a straight A student again. Sanaye's previous school issued student laptops and Sanaye was able to use the laptop to get all of her homework done as well as use the laptop for social communication without having to buy her own. Sanaye's current school does not issue student laptops but does require that the internet is used for many student assignments. Sanaye is currently too young to find a job and having her own laptop would make school work and other assignments a lot easier for her.
