Kayla has struggled with managing her anger for the past few years. She is learning skills to get this under control since she is older now and will be on her own soon. She does well in school and is hoping to have a successful year and to be able to spend more time with her mom and siblings, who she doesn't live with.

Kayla is allowed to have day trips with her mom as long as she can keep herself under control. She loves these days with her mom, and looks forward to a fun day of shopping together this winter for winter clothes.
