Michael is a 12 year old young man who is has been in foster care for almost a year. He is in the seventh grade. He enjoys sports of all kinds and computer games. When he grows up, he hopes to work in technology or construction. He also loves spending time outdoors. Michael and his older sister are placed in the same home, and he is glad to be able to be with her.

Michael is wishing for a laptop computer of his own. He struggles with some subjects and currently uses his foster familyâ??s desktop computer to do extra skills work when at home. Michael, his sister, and his foster family all share the computer, and sometimes it is difficult for everyone to complete all of their work (his foster parent is also working on her graduate degree and uses the computer for her education). Due to computers becoming necessary for students these days, a laptop is something Michael could use now and in his future years in school. Michael can also play computer games on it (after he does his homework!).
