The COVID-19 pandemic made remote learning tough for Piper leading to feelings of isolation and difficulties in keeping up with her studies. Recently diagnosed with a learning disability she grapples with shame and faces bullying from peers affecting her self-esteem and discouraging her smile. Despite these obstacles Piper is creative and passionate about art making beautiful bracelets and launching a successful collection for breast cancer awareness. While she desires supportive friendships past hurt makes her wary of trusting others. She enjoys video games music and YouTube which offer her moments of joy amidst her challenges.
