DeShawn and his brothers have been separated from their parents for the last few years and are under the guardianship of their foster mom. Their placement has been filled with many positive changes. That helps since DeShawn is autistic, like one of his older brothers, but more verbal even if trouble communicating. The stable placement helps him gain new learning skills. However, DeShawn has been struggling with having so many different aids at school. At times, he only feels safe and calm with his foster mom or being around his brothers. But he absolutely loves being outdoors and loves to play with his scooter, football, and basketball. His foster mom is so proud of how far he's come and has a lot of hope for him as he grows up.

It would be great for DeShawn to have some new clothing for school and play. It's been tough for his foster mom to keep up with three brothers who are all growing at a fast pace. A chance for DeShawn to have new shirts, socks, pants, and sweatshirts would be a big help since he's always playing outside and keeping his foster mom busy with all of his drawing and activities. DeShawn would love to go with his brothers and pick out some new threads to show off at school!
