Marvin is a studious young man who resides with his sister while in foster care. He plays in the school band and gives it his all on the baseball field. He is both cautious and optimistic about his time in foster care and is already thinking about college!

Marvin is creative and writes poems and short stories to the delight of his classmates. Friends and family are particularly impressed when he adds graphics to his written work. This positive pastime seems to be assisting Marvin during his uncertain time in foster care. Having a personal laptop will provide Marvin with autonomy and a sense of independence along with helping to improve his graphic design skills. He has expressed interest in pursuing a career in graphic design.
