Nyasia has been waiting to be adopted for a few years which has caused added stress on top of her unfortunate trauma history. In spite of this she loves sitting on her cozy bed while reading her books. She borrowed her sisters weighted blanket one afternoon and found it to be very comforting. She would love to have one of her own. The pressure of a weighted blanket helps to decrease stress. It induces a feeling of pressure similar to the feeling of being hugged or held. She would be more than grateful if this wish was granted.
