Marla’s family is homeless and lives in a hotel room in South Plainfield. Her mom works long hours and multiple jobs to pay a high weekly rate for their hotel fee. The room they stay in is not big enough to fit all of their personal belongings, so her mom has a unit at Public Storage in Scotch Plainfield. Marla has some irreplaceable items in storage and can’t afford to lose it due to lack of funds to pay the rent. Marla’s mom needs assistance with paying the storage bill.
