Steel-toed boots for James to begin work at the airport

James, 21 years old

Wish submitted by:

1999 Collective

James aged out of foster care and immediately went to work as a dishwasher. He worked his way up and became a cook. He's incredibly responsible, hard-working and thoughtful. After being laid off, James became homeless, but with the support of a local organization, has been able to move from the homeless shelter to a new apartment, and is starting a new job. James is looking forward to returning to school, and loves dogs, birds and all kinds of animals.

James, who used to live in a homeless shelter, has recently moved to a new apartment! That's not all - he also landed a new job as a construction worker at the airport. The only thing he needs now is some steel-toe boots to be able to work safely. It would be amazing if we could help James get these boots and support him as he gets back on his feet.
