Amelia has a muscle disorder and only requested new shoes for Christmas this year to update her closet. Shoes are important to her because being able to walk is so important in her everyday life. These shoes would allow Amelia to feel empowered when walking to her classes or life events. She would be entirely grateful for this gift!
Amelia is 21 years old and lives in CO
Amelia is one of the most resilient young women we've met. She's been in and out of foster care most of her life but wakes up every day and strives to be the best that she can be. She faces more difficult obstacles than most. Despite all of this, she has a positive attitude and wants to make the best of her situation. Her work ethic is admirable and soon she'll have her associate's degree. After that, she'll work towards her Bachelor's degree and continue to make progress toward her goals. It is undeniable that she's going to change the world and create a positive impact on those who surround her.
