Jojo has been on the forefront of advocating for foster youth for over 20 years. She has spoken on behalf of and in front of thousands of people with the goal of positively impacting the foster community. Jojo is the founder and director of the brand-new non-profit Awakening Giantz Inc. which supports former foster youth as they are entering into adulthood. Although they are new, the impact they have already made on their members is enormous.

Jojo is eagerly looking forward to attending the Women of Silicon Valley Conference, where she will be representing her nonprofit organization that is growing at a rapid pace. Despite having spent a considerable amount of her own hard-earned money on this event, she is worried about the cost of gas and parking in a big city like this. Fulfilling her wish would not only be an investment in Jojo but also in the exceptional young adults that she serves and aims to serve more of in the future.
