Tony loves to play basketball! He gets to go to the gym to play basketball sometimes, but he would really love to be able to shoot some hoops at his foster home and be able to spend some time outside. Tony's foster home doesn't have a basketball hoop because his neighborhood has some strict regulations about keeping hoops in the driveway! This hoop would be perfect for Tony because it is just the right he- he is very tall!- but it is also on wheels, so Tony is able to lower it and roll it back into the garage when he's done playing for the day! Tony would love to be able to get outside more because it helps him be in a better mood, and being able to play basketball helps him stay physically active and keep his mind off of other things that are happening in his life. Tony has been asking about getting a basketball hoop every single week, and it would just make him so happy to finally get the update that one is on the way for him!
Tony is 15 years old and lives in OH
Tony is a quiet, reserved young man who is trying to make the most of his time in foster care. He does really well in school and enjoys learning new things. He loves to play all different types of sports, especially basketball, to help him cope with his situation of being in foster care. Tony also loves getting to play video games with his younger brother and tries to be a good role model for his brother.
