Ruta is finishing high school next week and she has been very busy with her studies. She is also moving to a new foster home in January and she has been hard at work packing and getting ready to move. Ruta is requesting a gift card so she can buy groceries for herself until she can start working more hours after school is done for the semester.

Ruta is a kind and resilient young woman. She is finishing high school soon and wants to go to college to become a nurse. She is from Eritrea and she enjoys cooking meals from her home country with her friends. She also likes soccer and she is always willing to help out a friend.
