Carrie's time in foster care allowed her to just be a kid, and not take on the parent role in her family. While hard to adjust to at first, foster care gave her opportunities to better her life, including graduating high school. Carrie is a proud mom to two little ones, and is a Certified Nursing Assistant. She is hoping to go back to nursing school soon.

Carrie's mom recently passed away, and she and her children are really struggling with missing their mom and grandmom with the upcoming holidays. Carrie really wants to make her children's Christmas special, so they can maybe remember the happy times. She would love to give her daughter this beautiful loft bed so her room can be complete. Carrie's daughter will be so excited, and Carrie will be so happy to see the joy on her daughter's face on Christmas morning.
