The Division of Children and Family Services is responsible for the state’s child welfare, juvenile services, and economic assistance programs through offices and centers located across the state. The CFS mission is to provide the least disruptive services when needed, for only as long as needed to give children the opportunity to succeed as adults, help the elderly and disabled live with dignity and respect and help families care for themselves; resulting in healthier families and safer, more prosperous communities.
